Some of you already posted your thoughts on the 5 best games ever made on an earlier entry - if you haven't done that already, please go ahead and do so now.
If you've already done it, let's focus your thinking a bit - what is the best FPS ever, with some detailed rationale? Don't let the fact that you love a game NOW (COD 2 anyone) cloud your judgement, although I think that one is definitely in the running in my mind...

Don't want to be predictable but Modern Warfare 2 is number one :P. Number two killzone 2, third because it was the first one i ever play the original Unreal Tournament for the PS2. I'm sure theirs more but i cant think of any right now. I kinda know that this isn't a FPS but Uncharted 2 Among thieves is about between 1 and 2 on my list if that makes any sense :/
